Megan Burr

Assistant Project Manager

Megan has been on the Thunderpup team since early 2008. In her role as Assistant Project Manager, Megan aids in bid invitations, estimating, and client meetings. She has recently taken on responsibilities in the field as well. Megan brings proficient knowledge in project management software, and a team-player attitude. She will be graduating from Colorado State University in the fall of 2009 with a Bachelor of Science in Construction Management.

Steve

Steve Wimp

President/Owner

Steve has been an owner of Thunderpup Construction since 1990. He has been with the company since 1987, and is now the sole owner and president. Steve has worked in all aspects of the construction industry, as a laborer, manager and self-employed carpenter. His experience started when he worked for Woodward Governor in Sydney, Australia for three years before attending engineering school at Fort Lewis College in Durango, Colorado.

Andrea

Andrea Dupuis

Design Manager

Andrea started designing in 2006 when she was selected as a “Trading Rooms” co-designer for Housing and Dining Services at CSU. She started designing for Thunderpup Construction in 2007 and is now the design manager. Her experience includes both residential and commercial interior design, as well as graphic design. Andrea brings worldly design knowledge from her studies abroad at Florence University of the Arts in Florence, Italy. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Interior Design from Colorado State University.

Gary

Gary D. Hale

Estimator/Project Manager

Gary has owned and managed several businesses in the construction industry since the early 90’s. His roles as estimator and project manager at Thunderpup Construction began in 2006, and he now also acts as assistant manager to the president of the company. Gary’s additional duties as Safety Coordinator include enforcing and administering the safety program to all Thunderpup employees, subcontractors and suppliers.

Carl

Carl Glaser

Superintendent

Carl began working at Thunderpup Construction in early 2009. His current role as superintendent is complimented by his responsibilities as a principal architect and president at two other personally-owned companies. As a registered architect and licensed general contractor, Carl brings expertise from all aspects of the construction industry. He received a Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Illinois, and has studied abroad in LaNapoule, France.

Adam

Adam Gaffield

Assistant Project Manager

Adam has been with Thunderpup Construction since early 2008. His construction experience began in 1998 when he began as a foreman apprentice. He has since then worked his way up the corporate ladder becoming an owner of two construction companies in the recent past. He is currently studying to receive a Bachelor of Science in Construction Management from Colorado State University.

Bryon

Bryon Holloway

Assistant Project Manager

Bryon has been with Thunderpup Construction since the summer of 2008. He has recently been promoted from his role as a field laborer to an assistant project manager, although his skills are still useful in the field. Bryon is the first Thunderpup employee to receive his LEED accreditation and is now a practicing LEED AP. He earned a drafting certification from the American Design and Drafting Association in 2005, and is currently studying to receive a Bachelor of Science in Construction Management from Colorado State University.

Andi

Andi Ruibal

Administrative Assistant

Andi is the newest team member at Thunderpup Construction, although she has been in and around the office since she was just a pup. As the administrative assistant, Andi aids our accounts manager with office management duties, including correspondence and bookkeeping. She also handles our filing system in which we keep detailed documentation of all pending and completed projects to later be used as references and error-free records. Andi is currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in education.

Randy

Randy Thole

Carpenter

Randy has been with Thunderpup Construction since late 2007. Having owned a residential construction company in Alaska for three years prior to his employment here, Randy brings experience from every aspect of the construction. His role as carpenter involves both management and labor responsibilities. Randy attended St. Cloud Technical College in St. Cloud, Minnesota for construction technology, and business school at Lake Superior College in Duluth, Minnesota.

Larry

Larry Volk

Carpenter

Larry has been with Thunderpup for 8 years after moving from his home state of Pennsylvania. His background in construction began 18 years ago. He has experience in welding, roofing, carpentry, framing, cabinetry and many other aspects of construction. Larry is a quality minded and efficient individual that brings a lot to the Thunderpup team

Heather

Heather Fritzler

Accounts Manager

Heather has been the accounts manager at Thunderpup Construction since 2007. She manages all invoices and insurance matters as part of her office management duties. Her vast experience in customer service brings professionalism and accurateness to our company. Her experience in accounts payable and banking helps keep us error-free when billing and paying invoices.

Garrett

Garrett Ewing

Carpenter

Garrett joined the Thunderpup field crew in 2008 as a carpenter. Not only is he a skilled carpenter, but he grew up around construction which has made him well rounded and experienced in many trades. He is a reliable and detail oriented worker who brings a lot to the company.

Dan

Dan Testa

Chief Superintendent

Dan started working for Thunderpup Construction over a decade ago, in 1999, as a laborer. He has since been promoted to chief superintendent and now oversees all field operations. He also acts as a liaison between the field and the office, ensuring that communication lines are kept open and mistakes at a minimum. Dan’s extensive experience with the restaurant business lends a great deal of expertise to all our commercial projects, especially those dealing with food service.

Josh

Joshua Maes

Project Manager

Josh has been a project manager for Thunderpup Construction since the beginning of 2008. His experience ranges from carpentry, to labor, to management and has been involved in the construction industry his whole life. Josh brings expertise in SureTrak, P3 and Expedition project management software, as well as an incredible eye for detail and accuracy. He has Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Management from Colorado State University.

Chris Busteed

Inspiration

"You know I just keep telling these guys: keep pushing, keep dreaming, keep your head up, and one day, yes one day, you'll be as good as me at this whole construction game."

Chris has year after year, time after time proven to be a monumental asset to this company. He embodies what it means to be a Thunderpup. His "role" in this company is as an inspiration to each and every member to be the best they can possibly be. This company loves Chis so much that we included a picture of his grandma. Did you see anyone else's Grandma on this site? Chis loves the Thundepups so much he doesn't take a paycheck. He does what he does gratis, for free, for love of the game.
